My pita fell apart…again


Here is some Food Inspiration for you…my dinner last night:

I had a whole-wheat pita stuffed with fresh vegetables and fruit (apple!)

Here’s what it was filled with:

  • Greek Yoghurt (makes a great spread, adds freshness and is a great source of protein)
  • Fresh lettuce
  • Carrot sticks
  • Bell pepper
  • Small tomato
  • Sliced apple (this makes all the difference)
  • Tamari roasted nuts (I had a few of these leftover from my afternoon snack and thought I’d throw them in)

On the side I had kale chips and the rest of the apple and tomatoes that just wouldn’t want to fit into the pita. I always forget how small a pita is, it therefore sort of fell apart. But it still was delicious.
